Fourth Semester programme for Full Time Training programme

A Yaounde based Computer/Management school needs instructors in the department of E-Banking & Computerized Accounting.

DEFINITION OF POST: The Accounting Instructor provides a practical approach in teaching accounting to adults most of whom are working in management and accounting departments of private firms and public service, and are learning accounting practices for the first time.

DUTIES: The post includes the following duties

1) In collaboration with the EBA Head of Department, prepares schemes and develop solutions for preparing trainees to sit for the ACCA Examinations;

2) Provides guidance to the trainees of the changes in tax systems, OHADA Accounting system, Accounting Software Management and the role of IT in Accounting;

3) Teach and performed other duties as may be directed by the EBA-HOD.

REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must have a primary university degree in Accounting, Management or Banking and finance with at least one year of progressive responsible experience in Bookkeeping / Accounting with proven supervisory and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge in Microsoft technologies preferably (MS Access and MS Excel) would be an advantage. Excellent English is required.

DEFINITION OF POST: The Maintenance Instructor provides a practical approach in teaching Computer Maintenance and Networks to trainees who are reading Computer Science for the first time and intend to specialize in Hardware/Software Maintenance and administration of Computer Networks.

DUTIES: The post include the following duties

1) In collaboration of the MMN Head of Department, prepares schemes and develop solutions for preparing trainees to sit for the CISCO and City & Guilds Examinations;

2) Teach and performed other duties as may be directed by the MMN-HOD.

REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must have an Advanced Diploma in Computer Maintenance or Networking with at least two years of progressive responsible experience in teaching or industrial works in any IT related field with proven supervisory and interpersonal skills. Knowledge in Network Theory, Motherboard Mechanics, and Microsoft technologies preferably (Office and WINDOWS) is required. Excellent English and good working knowledge in French is required and will be tested.
